WHY SHE?
SHE was created to aid and empower our female youth in areas not covered in traditional schools. Skills such as understanding diversity, cultural awareness, etiquette, economic conditions, emotional awareness and dealing with relationships, as well as other life lessons that are not taught in public schools will be our focus.
We recognize balancing work and home life can be difficult for parents in this day and age. With the internet and social media being the primary guide for our Generation Z youth, it is vital for our female youth truly understand real life social interactions outside of interacting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Our goal is to build up our female youth allowing them to enter adulthood being productive and interactive citizens in the world. The young female is our target because they soon become young women who are the foundation of the family, bringing new life into the world and providing guidance to future generations. It is SHE’s goal to ensure our girls are well equipped to lead a fulfilling life.
Our Commitment To You
SHE is committed to respecting each child and her family and acknowledge diversity and individual differences in growth, background, values, and beliefs. Our team demonstrates genuine interest for the well-being of all children and families we work with. SHE will make an effort to build robust relationships to foster success.
The Communities We Serve
SHE focuses on underserved, high-risk neighborhoods in Cobb County as our core service area, as well as other counties in the Metro-Atlanta Area. We acknowledge the probability of parents encountering significant problems related to employment, education, self-sufficiency, or a healthy lifestyle, which trickles down to the youth in these areas. Our aspiration is to work with the youth and parents in the community to provide the tools and resources needed to overcome at-risk conditions, breaking the cycle of poverty, crime and low educational attainment.
Strengthening Her Evolution, Inc. is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion. We embrace and value our everyone we serve, to include our volunteers and employees’ differences in age, color, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make our them unique. SHE has a shared responsibility to treat others with dignity and respect at all times.
